Annihilus is reported to drop from the Echo of Uber Diablo after a World Boss, so the World Boss reward alone does not guarantee the Seal. In Diablo 4 Season 15, Annihilus is a Unique Horadric Seal that opens six Charm slots on the Horadric Talisman; it is not a Charm itself. While the Echo hunt is the target, Diablo 4 runes are a separate progression option and do not summon the Echo or replace the Seal hunt.

Follow the reported post-World Boss route

Open the map, find an upcoming World Boss, and travel to its arena before the event begins.
Join the fight and remain there through the boss's defeat. Do not leave as soon as its health reaches zero.
Watch for "Diablo walks the Earth." If the message appears, look in the area for the additional Echo of Uber Diablo encounter.
Defeat the Echo, then check the resulting loot for Annihilus.

The message and the added encounter are the useful confirmations that the follow-up is happening. If the World Boss dies without either, that does not show that you missed a guaranteed drop; the route is not confirmed to trigger every time.

Check Talisman access and Annihilus rolls

Complete The Last of the Horadrim campaign quest to access the Horadric Talisman. Eligible later characters can use the campaign skip instead of replaying the full story, so check campaign completion or skip availability if the Talisman tab is missing before searching for Annihilus.

Annihilus sits in the Talisman's central Seal position, with Charms arranged in the outer slots. Its reported rolls are +10-20% to All Stats, +10-20% to All Resistances, +5-10 to All Skills, and +5-10% Bonus Experience; it can also carry two set-bonus affixes. The six-slot effect gives you room for a full Charm setup without replacing a weapon, armor piece, or jewelry item.

Choose the Seal for the combination of skill ranks, defenses, and all-stat bonuses, then fit Charms to your class and desired set effects. A high roll helps, but the slot unlock and broad bonuses can still be useful before every value reaches its maximum.

Reroll carefully and protect your build

Use the Horadric Cube in Temis only after checking the recipe available for the item and reading its preview. An Affix Value Reroll targets affix values on equipment and Talisman items, while a Horadric Reroll randomizes base affixes on eligible Legendary-or-higher Charms and Seals. The Horadric Reroll leaves set bonuses and Unique or Mythic powers untouched.

Choose an Affix Value Reroll when the existing affixes suit your build and you want to improve their values.
Use a Horadric Reroll only if you accept that ordinary base affixes can change; it cannot select an exact stat.
Check the material cost and preview before confirming. A reroll can optimize an Annihilus you already own, but it cannot summon the Echo or create the Seal.

Annihilus and the Hellfire Torch fill different Talisman positions: Annihilus is the central Seal, while the Torch is a Unique Charm for an outer slot. For the Season 15 Dance of Knives Rogue, keep the set effects and Poison Imbuement damage at the core, and use the open Charm slots to support the build rather than breaking a working set combination.

Know what a missing Echo means

A World Boss kill without Annihilus is not evidence that the Seal failed to drop; the reported route depends on the separate Echo encounter. Do not rely on theories about hidden counters, item-salvage totals, a specific boss, or a guaranteed kill count. If the Echo does not appear, watch the next scheduled World Boss instead of spending time on unrelated dungeons or vendors.

Keep the encounters distinct: the World Boss is the opportunity to see the follow-up message, and defeating the Echo is the reported Annihilus route. Before your next run, confirm Talisman access, use the map to reach the next scheduled World Boss, and stay through its defeat; treat cheap d4 gear as a separate gear option, not a way to trigger the Echo.
