In the first house, speak to the wife in the kitchen before questioning her husband; she'll move into the living room, leaving you free to search.

Check the First House Carefully

Begin in the kitchen. Inspect the rice in the large cupboard, then open the smaller one and read the Baekseolgi-Tteok Recipe. It supplies the lockbox code, 214. The bathroom cabinet near the entrance holds an MP3 player; take it before moving down the hall. In the first room on the right, search the closet for a red lockbox, enter 214, then collect the Note From Your Friend and heart medicine. This quick route should save you from doubling back.

Question the Husband, Then Move On

There's still one room to check: open the cabinet in the second room on the left and take the Western Novel. Since the achievement asks for four, watch the on-screen count and search any unopened rooms before leaving. Once you've checked the house, return to the living room and use the evidence during questioning. After enough pressure, choose the dialogue option demanding that the husband reveal the defector's location. He points to the neighboring house. Search through it until the bathroom ambush begins; your squad will capture the target. There are no notes or contraband there, so continue once the squad takes him outside.

Find the Last Two Notes

In the third house, head to the bedroom closet for Note From Your Neighbor. Then go to the kitchen, switch off the steaming pot, and look beside the window for a spare key. Use it to open the secured floor hatch. A woman is hiding in the cellar crawl space, so use calm dialogue to persuade her to come out. Once she's clear, look down into the hatch and read Note From Mom. The second house has no collectibles; this final location is where the remaining notes are easy to miss.

Confirm the Evidence Before Leaving

Before the mission wraps up, check that you've read the recipe, Note From Your Friend, Note From Your Neighbor, and Note From Mom. Keep an eye on the contraband counter too, since the route above names only three items.
